Sump 4.2

Cast from our own pattern equipment in the UK and machined at our Buxted factory, these sand cast Jaguar E-Type sump pans are produced to the later type 4.2ltr specification defined by the finned sides giving the benefit of improved oil cooling. Unlike some other replacement sumps the drain plug is set on the side of the sump pan which minimises the risk of damage from obstructions in the road or on track. To ensure the highest quality product our sump pans are put through a double impregnation process which ensures there are no oil leaks from porosity. Also suitable for the earlier 3.8 engines when fitted in conjunction with the correct rear seal housing. We offer rear seal housings to suit either the traditional rope seal, C19687 or the preferred lip seal type JAGXK-55-017
