These are the correct wheels for the 917 Wheels are manufactured using period correct magnesium sand casting techniques, from our own patterns at the leading motorsport magnesium foundry and machined in house with the latest CNC lathes & mills. Safety beads are incorporated and machined to the industry ‘ETRTO’ standards, as is the rim diameter to ensure correct tyre fitment and sealing. These improvements over the original wheel permit the use of tubeless tyres.
