Cylinder block 3.8ltr #

Reintroduced by Jaguar Classic for the first time in over 50 years these new Jaguar 3.8-litre cast iron cylinder blocks are produced to the later C22250 specification incorporating the later improved water jacket design. Manufactured to the original Jaguar specification these cylinder blocks are a direct replacement for 3.8 XK engines fitted from 1958 to 1968. Supplied with new main bearing caps and bolts along with a new sand cast aluminium front cover matched to the block. For additional reliability these cylinder blocks are fitted with screw in black anodised aluminium core plugs.
